Standing in the Gap

In biblical context, “standing in the gap” refers to the act of taking responsibility for protecting and defending something or someone, often in a time of crisis or need. This concept is rooted in Ezekiel 22:30, where God searches for someone to “stand in the gap” to prevent the destruction of Jerusalem. In this series, we will learn on how the statement “stand in the gap” is messianic, and refers to Jesus Christ standing in the gap between God and humanity.
